Our Process

Introduction

We always start by getting to know you and the vision you have for your house.  Tell us how you see your room and the look you want to achieve, so we can discuss the design, colours, fabrics and practical requirements for your curtains.

Whether you prefer a simple conversation over the phone or by email, we will make sure you are comfortable and confident as soon as we start designing your drapes.

Consultation

After we understand how our curtains and blinds will be used in your home, we will organise a suitable time to show you our samples, with either an in-home appointment or a virtual meeting. 

Our online consultations are very popular with clients in remote locations.  We deliver our fabric samples to you and carefully review your choice over a video call.

Approval

Once you are happy with the look, design, feel and function of the curtains and blinds we have planned for you, our senior technician will arrive at your property for the final inspection and confirm the last details before we start production.

 If no further measurements, discussions or decisions are needed, we will send you a final agreement and invoice to approve your order.

Installation

Everything from this point on will be completely under our control.  Your custom curtains and blinds will be produced to the exact specifications of your home and we will update you throughout the process. 

We will manage every last detail with our professional installation team to make sure your brand new curtains and blinds have the right fit and the perfect look for your home.

At the Building Stage

It’s easy to lose track of the details during this exciting time. Based on your design plans, we can help you choose the right the right fabrics, colours and styles before your structure is complete. 

By talking to East Coast Curtains & Blinds at the construction stage, you can have a reliable estimate to consider for your budget.  We can adjust the final details of your curtain design and installation with an in-home consultation after the building is complete.

At the Planning Stage

The best time to contact us about your curtains and blinds is when your home is still in the planning stage. Let us look at your blueprints and help you decide exactly what you need from your curtains, blinds or shutters to get the look you want.

We know that pelmets need extra space, automatic openers need a power source and double tracks need to clear the bulkhead.
